✈ Hongkong - Day 2

Because we didn't had much "breakfast days" to waste, we woke up early in the morning to Parkes for our Cha Chan Teng breakfast. Here's HK mini public bus (:
We take 2 breakfast every morning. One at any random bakery and another at Cha Chan Teng hahaha
Maxim's cakes is one of their famous bakery shop!
I was so disappointed because Australian Dairy Co. was closed!!! :( I was looking forward to it but we had no choice but to try any random CCT around the area.

We ended up at Mei Sun Restaurant. Not too bad I guess :) I pretty much enjoyed my breakfast and iced yuan yang. A set costs between HKD23-26 (about $4?)

Mei Sun Restaurant
31 Parkes Street, HongKong.
Exit from Jordan MTR, it's somewhere near Australian Dairy Co.

Train ride to Disneyland :D
Main street USA
the beautiful tomorrow land
extremely cute and colorful toy-story land
Jack plucked out all his courage and sat roller coaster with me hahaha it was so fun!!!

Went to Tsim Sha Shui for an evening walk and to check out our Macau's ferry tickets! :)
Avenue of stars
We went back Mongkok for another round of dessert supper and to rest our shakey legs at 許留山. This dessert place is popular and everywhere in HK.  We ordered Mango Feast because I wanted to try everything and it was really good! I wished they come in bigger bowl though because this ain't enough :( We tried their famous Mango drink on the last day too, it was so gooood even though we were freezing at 17 degrees!

許留山
Everywhere

Definitely one of the loveliest day :)

✈ Hongkong - Day 1

After a grueling 4 hours flight, the first thing that caught our eyes and hungry stomach at 2pm after we picked our luggages up was the huge MacDonalds sign.
Prosperity beef burger & curly fries!!! J was looking forward to some pork though haha
We headed to the bus terminal for A22 which brought us to our hotel, which was about a good 40 minutes ride
Our huge and rly affordable room. I'd rly recommend you to stay here even though it's not near any MTR. Because there's a mini public bus that comes almost every 2 minutes to the hotel to bring us to Mongkok station, so it's pretty fuss free! We settled down quickly and went out to find food near evening!
EGGGGGLETS @ a random shop in Mongkok!! alot recommended me to try, so I decided to order best of both worlds - chocolate + original. really vvvv gooood!!!

We went searching high and low for this wanton mee, almost gave up but it just had to appear right in front of us. This small bowl of noodles cost us near $5. The noodle was really really good and chewy, the shrimps in the wanton was wow. I'm not a fan of prawns but I must it's really delicious!!

Mak Ngan Wan Ton Noodle House
77 Wellington Street, Central, HongKong.
Exit from Central MTR, about a good 12 minutes walk, you have to go up a slope and turn left when you see the Wellington Street signboard :)

Next up after the dinner, we went hunting for egg tarts since we were around the area. We bought 3 to share, the egg tarts the shop served doesn't have the kind of flaky crust but the egg custard was pretty smooth though. Slightly better than average only I guess, maybe because I had higher expectation after reading so many reviews! :/

Tai Cheong Bakery
35, Lyndhurst Terrace, Central, HongKong
somebody savoring every moment
Back to Mongkok for a walk + supper. We were looking at what's available and a local told us to try their famous spicy fishball! Not exactly a fan of fishball but it was really shiok to have this under a cold weather. We also tried a scallop looking kind of food, and it wasn't good at all.
So, just the fishball will do!

✈ Snippets of HK in little boxes

Jack & I had an incredible holiday at Hongkong! It was our first trip there and we're still amazed by their bustling streets and beautiful city view. Thank god for my itinerary and all the information I got through friends, Google and food reviews site, truly helped us in many ways! :)
We love the weather at 17 degrees. Some part of the days is freezing, especially the last night when it rains!!! but.. I like it that we don't sweat at all even after a sunny long day at Disneyland! :)
HK is another food paradise second to places like bkk or taiwan. There are so many street food and restaurant everywhere along the area! I miss eating egglets & their iced yuan yang! :<
thank god for this amazing person :) in another 5 days time, happy 6.5 years!
mm, will blogged about the trip in more details agn!
