Moments of 2012

Wow, it's the last Sunday of 2012 and another great year is coming to an end. This year was nothing short of amazing and I'm thankful for every single thing I'm blessed with and for over the months :)

Like last year, I looked through entries of this journey and decided to pen my favourite moments through the year. Something that happened months ago just feels like yesterday! Growing up too quickly!

January - May - Jan to May's just some.. nothing very interesting moments of the life except I remembering chionging overnight in school with my teammates for AA and whatnots haha. Other than that, it's just snippets of new food places I've explored!

I remembered I spent most of my time and weekends working away, saving for Tioman and exchange hehe

June - Tioman - 3 days at Paya Resort, a beach getaway without much connection with the world. Perfect chillax place. We did snorkeling too!! :)

July/August - Then came late June, I left Singapore for Korea for 8 weeks. Studying in Yonsei University is definitely a cool and unforgettable experience, not forgetting that our school looks and feels like Hogwarts haha. The daily mountain climbing to our classroom...... & our apartment, we lived so near dongdaemon I missed there!! :(

This short experience has take up so much of my hard earned money but still, I wouldn't have trade it for anything else! :)

 September - Came back to all the friends I've missed :)

The big group of most important people in my life :)

October - Back to school life for the last semester of my university. I had so much time weekly and we found time to bake. yummz!

November - blessed :')

December - The particularly happiest month :)

- Finished my exams, got my results and officially graduated from SMU!

- Got a job and started working after a 3 weeks well-deserved break! :) Just started on my first project

- Applied for BTO last month and... we secured a unit already. ahaha. Lucky number 8 :D

Really couldn't have asked for anything else better than all these :')
Can't wait for the upcoming year in less than 4 hours time. A new year to start of real working adulthood.

Merry Christmas

X'mas this year is definitely a quiet affair. I only had a few pre mini celebration here and there to commemorate this day. And right now, I'm spending this special day nursing a fever of 38.9 degrees, dripping water nose and sore throat :(

 

Dinner last Friday with my dearest girlfriends - Backyard @ Dempsey. The location of the restaurant really lives up to the name, Backyard. We had such a hard time finding it! The food was surprisingly very affordable, like my Cajun chicken at $13 I think? We spent the rest of night with some gift exchanges and photo-taking. My Santa gave me a perfect gift - a HH blazer which I really wanted for work! :D

Beautiful fruits and chocolate tarts on top of the logcake bought by my aunt. So yummy!!

J&I spent Xmas eve watching CZ12, really good movie :) After which, at about 10pm, we decided to head for some desserts to "countdown" haha. I wondered if this is the thing that causes my illness! :/

Floating Clouds

With approximately one week left to the new start of working life, I had to date the bff out for brunch on a weekday before we could no longer do this together! Settled for FFT since we have not tried their all day breakfast before and it was near where I need to run errands.

Customized scrambled eggs, mushrooms and chunky sausage for myself!

Basic works consisting of Brioche, hashbrowns (change) and scrambled eggs for Rach!

I've never had such huge portion of eggs in a breakfast before, probably a total of 3 eggs?? haha

 and $5 herbal jelly you need to tryyyyyyy! so so good :)

The boyfriend and I had a "celebratory" dinner at Chilli's yesterday. No pictures because I didn't bought my camera out. I didn't even know we were supposed to go town and I was clad in tee and shorts after fixing my hair so we had to settle dinz at Jcube *guilt*

But nevertheless, the fajitas I had was so gooooooood hehee. I love Mexican food!! It comes with 4 wraps and a plate of sauce. I had fun wrapping the ingredients inside and was really full after the big portion. Would definitely go back to chilli's for this again (:

So these days.. we've been busy... I hope the change is allowed *keeping my fingers crossed*

wow time flies, it's yet another Friday, or the last 3rd Friday of 2012 to be exact. I was in a dilemma for the past few days but.. not anymore. I've made up my mind (: 

12.12.12 - holds a special place in my heart, it didn't initially but somehow it just did. Everything feels so sudden and I'm kinda unprepared for it lol. Hello number 8! But anyway, I am really grateful and thankful and to whoever who's blessing me at this moment, thank-you!! 

So I have another 11 more freedom days before I officially start work! Need to plan to make good use of it!

Even if you're experiencing the worst, embrace and overcome it!

and my tutee got into top class next year!! so happy for her.

The Loft x Sunday brunch

I spent the weekends lazing around, catching up on some shows, cleaned the room, went work, breakfast with mum and Sunday with the boyf. J bought me to The Loft yesterday for brunch and boy, I love that place (: It's a quaint cafe along Smith Road and though it's a Sunday, the place's pretty much empty we almost had the entire place to ourselves

At the Crossroads

Hey wow, I'm finally bidding goodbye to my 2nd home after a good 3.5 years. It's been a long long education journey and I'm glad it has come to an end *keeping my fingers cross I'll pass my stats!* All the fun and crazy times in/doing IS are definitely unforgettable, the opportunities and friends I've made.. whoo, so proud we made it through!
Commencement only in July 2013, so till another long time later :)
