Gene is selfish because...

It was a perfect Wednesday to spend the morning/afternoon having brunch.
A public holiday that falls in the middle of the week is better than nothing, I had an absolutely good rest.
We made our way to Selfish Gene Cafe and yea, TP area again. Kinda sick of it. haha
We had sesame bagel as our side order, should had tried the banana cake everyone was raving about!
But anyway, this was so much better than the one I last had in Korea, which was as hard as a rock.

Chicken Sandwich for the boy
Bagel & Smoked Salmon for me. I love anything salmon!
and yeaaa, we caught Iron Man 3 :S It was really good!!
You don't know who I am. You'll never see me coming.

Can you believe it's May already? This year is passing by too fast!

Floating Clouds

With approximately one week left to the new start of working life, I had to date the bff out for brunch on a weekday before we could no longer do this together! Settled for FFT since we have not tried their all day breakfast before and it was near where I need to run errands.
Customized scrambled eggs, mushrooms and chunky sausage for myself!
Basic works consisting of Brioche, hashbrowns (change) and scrambled eggs for Rach!
I've never had such huge portion of eggs in a breakfast before, probably a total of 3 eggs?? haha
and $5 herbal jelly you need to tryyyyyyy! so so good :)
simple ootd.
The boyfriend and I had a "celebratory" dinner at Chilli's yesterday. No pictures because I didn't bought my camera out. I didn't even know we were supposed to go town and I was clad in tee and shorts after fixing my hair so we had to settle dinz at Jcube *guilt*

But nevertheless, the fajitas I had was so gooooooood hehee. I love Mexican food!! It comes with 4 wraps and a plate of sauce. I had fun wrapping the ingredients inside and was really full after the big portion. Would definitely go back to chilli's for this again (:

So these days.. we've been busy... I hope the change is allowed *keeping my fingers crossed*

Have a great week ahead!!!

The Loft x Sunday brunch

I spent the weekends lazing around, catching up on some shows, cleaned the room, went work, breakfast with mum and Sunday with the boyf. J bought me to The Loft yesterday for brunch and boy, I love that place (: It's a quaint cafe along Smith Road and though it's a Sunday, the place's pretty much empty we almost had the entire place to ourselves
Farmer's Omelette filled with lotsa ham and mushrooms
look inside for the goodness!
Bacon makes the Mr. happy
the pancakes were so goooooooooood I kope one over! drizzled over some honey, perfect in the mouth
Caught Breaking Dawn and I'm in love with A thousand years again.

Have a great week ahead! (:

My yummylicious large omelette with ham, sauteed mushrooms and potatoes :) I love anything saute!

Spent the rest of Sunday filming for drama everywhere from Arts museum to Fort canning to Sakae to Grace's place till midnight... and we are only half done :( It was really tedious and tiring but we had many good laugh. Kudos to the professionals out there for all our drama series!!

Tiong bahru bakery

There have been a lot of ravings and hype about Tiong Bahru Bakery for a long time..... but I didn't had the opportunity to make my way there until they recently opened one at Raffles City. It is so much more convenient especially since it's near the school :) could even run there to grab some breads before class :p

Saturday teabreak with rach, ty and fp after my makeup lesson. We ordered a variety of food, from their famous croissant to sandwiches and cakes! I got myself smoked salmon cream cheese sandwich and a cuppa iced Americano to perk myself up, I was dead by midday!! The bakery definitely wasn't stingy in their salmon and salad veggies, totally loveeeeeeeeee it! :)

my glutton friends!

We ordered their lemon curd and chocolate mendiant tart for share. The former was a little tad sour and had very hard biscuit crumbs but I still love it anyway. The latter would be soooooooo much better without apricot inside, definitely not a fan of apricot, just tastes weird with chocolate. Didn't get to try their original croissant but I will someday!

Decked in my new knit wear I got from sales :D love the brown and cute red collar which gives the vintage feel. Ended my day with 2 cheap loots with Rach from Scape. Say yay to thrift!

i'm off to clear some work before sleep. forever tired in class this semester :(
