I've been reading/hearing quite alot about
fortyhands on their brunch and outstanding coffee. So after my tuition on Sunday, I finally went for a proper date in weeks with the boyfriend. Haha. So, Yong Siak street, here we come! We kinda got lost around the area but thank god it only started pouring once we got into the shelter.
It was "full house" and since we were really hungry (245pm alr!), we agreed to sit at the back (w/o aircon!!)
hungryyyy pigs
Jack ordered big boy breakfast ($18) and long black ($5 i think?) The breakfast set was a little overpriced though he enjoyed it. Anyway, the coffee at fourtyhands tasted a little special - it was slightly sour, is it supposed to taste like this? lol.
I had truffles mushroom toasted sandwich ($11-which was so filling!) with a cup of hot latte ($5)! Art on coffee so beautiful I don't bear to destroy it :<
Bugged the boyf to get me dessert after my meal. My mind was on the dark bitter chocolate tart ($5) all the while when eating hahaha. Anyway, I still prefer the chocolate tart at Black. This tasted a little soft and had lesser biscuit =/
slurps
not a bad try. hope to come by again with my cousin the next time!
