Tiong bahru bakery

There have been a lot of ravings and hype about Tiong Bahru Bakery for a long time..... but I didn't had the opportunity to make my way there until they recently opened one at Raffles City. It is so much more convenient especially since it's near the school :) could even run there to grab some breads before class :p

Saturday teabreak with rach, ty and fp after my makeup lesson. We ordered a variety of food, from their famous croissant to sandwiches and cakes! I got myself smoked salmon cream cheese sandwich and a cuppa iced Americano to perk myself up, I was dead by midday!! The bakery definitely wasn't stingy in their salmon and salad veggies, totally loveeeeeeeeee it! :)

We ordered their lemon curd and chocolate mendiant tart for share. The former was a little tad sour and had very hard biscuit crumbs but I still love it anyway. The latter would be soooooooo much better without apricot inside, definitely not a fan of apricot, just tastes weird with chocolate. Didn't get to try their original croissant but I will someday!

Decked in my new knit wear I got from sales :D love the brown and cute red collar which gives the vintage feel. Ended my day with 2 cheap loots with Rach from Scape. Say yay to thrift!

i'm off to clear some work before sleep. forever tired in class this semester :(

Angels are few :)

Over the weekends, we celebrated my dearest tiny best friend and sherrill's birthday with a large group of my favourite people in the www :) There were a total of 12 of us and we made VIP booking at Ippudo because the birthday girl wanted to try their ramen!

Table full of Ramens! It was my 3rd visit, I do like their noodles but somehow find it a little too salty for my liking! It would be so much better if there's less sodium! :p

and cheers to our 9th year of friendship :D they are just special

with the two birthday girls! :) they gave each of us an awfully chocolate cupcake, so sweet!!!  (which i immediately consumed when I got home at 1plus - *guilty face*)

Later night at Serenity - coffee, cider, mocktails and laughter. Truly enjoy the companionship of these people :)

Simple pleasures

is spending time eating, roaming around town, shopping! and more eating :)

Dinner at Potato Depot. I don't really fancy eating potato by itself but the menu looks good. Had Broccoli cheese myself and PD Original for J. The potato was baked really soft and it was good, and the soup was lightly taste with many tinges of bit-sized potato!

A set comes with potato soup, salad and a drink!

After walking comes 2nd round haha

I wish food was free

It's 847am on a Saturday morning and I'm up! :D been trying to adopt 'healthy lifestyle' by sleeping early (before 12) and waking up at 8plus in the morning. I'm usually zonked out by 11 because of work/long day out!

After my last paper 1 week ago (o.O time flies), went in search for random food to eat!  

Millenia walk for twelve cupcakes!

Picked 2 flavors to try just before dinner! I loveeeeeeeee the red velvet one, cookies and cream not bad too!! Like that the cream is not too oily but it was still too much I feel. Little bites of bliss indeed.

Round and round inside the mall before deciding on Ma Maison for dinner! I was craving for FRIED PORK CUTLET (idk why hahaa) that day. Ma Maison at MW had a totally different concept from the one at MG. They've got such beauty interior, all dimmed and filled with floral.

finished every single bit and left feeling extremely satisfied :D it was very good, the cutlet was very crispy and very yummy when it's piping hot. Comes with a weird sour sauce which I kinda like it after that.

Jack had errrr hamburger steak lol. The steak was very soft but the sauce was also kind of sour in my opinion?..

It is always me begging for desserts after our meals. The bf don't really have a habit of taking sweet stuff but after some long 6 years, he's v used to asking what I want after dinner lol. Didn't know what to go for and chanced upon Joe&Dough! They were having promotion set, a cuppa coffee/tea and slice of cake @ $8.90!

 so the whole cake for me and coffee for him :D It was their hot-selling cranberry yoghurt cake, like it that it's not too sweet - just nice for my liking! They have one in blueberries flavour but all sold!

916am, just nice! Gotta prepare for work now.
